Photocopy to fabric
I bought this after seeing a tutorial in which you can transfer magazine photos or photocopies onto fabric. It works. I also used it to give a waterproof glaze. The fabric stays soft and the colours looked brighter. I'm sure there are plenty of other uses for this product. It's very good quality.

Excellent product
Liquitex products are consistently outstanding as is this matte medium, a professional quality for however you decide how to use this medium (glueing, sealing etc).

Very versatile and great for sticking and glazing.
The beauty of this product is that you can use it as it is or dilute it with water. So I use it to create fabric collages ,first to glue the different pieces onto canvas then to glaze and secure the finished piece. I like that it dries matte and strong and is water-based. You can use it for paper and lots of other materials too.

Very impressed with the results.
Using this to transfer printed pictures on to wood surface. Doesn’t sound too impressive until you know the prints are from an inkjet printer! How I searched for a way to do this a few years ago but nothing stopped the ink smearing or bleeding. I guess with the explosion of mixed media, products have been invented or improved so much nowadays. Still need to use an acrylic clear spray to bring out the colours but you usually need some form of protection on your projects

My 'go to' for acrylic glazing technique
Great for applying glazes in acrylic portrait painting. Mix a good blob with tiny amounts of paint to build up several translucent layers of colour. Gives a lovely glow to skin.

Perfect for getting that right paint consistency!
I have recently started trying mandala dot art, and lots of advice online was about getting the right pain consistency – boy was that good advice! Thinning my paints with this acrylic medium feels like it’s made a world of difference, they’re so much easier to work with now.

Does the job- get more out your paint
Thinner mixture than the gloss alternative and gives a completely Matt finish. Personally prefer the gloss but this is nice for a change.
