Not enough yarn supplied
Was looking forward to a challenge with this project as I've only just started in crochet really. Found the instructions OK, but couldn't really visualise how the torso was going to come together with the diagrams or written instructions. Turns out I needn't have worried as I never got to the body- ran out of main yarn about a third of the way through the second leg.
Wish I'd read the reviews of the whole range before buying all 3 as it looks like this has been a consistent problem throughout. Contacted hobbycraft and was offered a refund or replacement but by the time this reply came through all were out of stock.
May try the other kits with a smaller hook to see if any joy there... but not hopeful and will likely be requesting refunds for the rest. Very disappointing.

Not enough yarn
Bought this and the pattern is very complicated with the the circle and crosses and ran out of yarn before I anywhere near finished. I still had the body left when I ran out. Do not buy.

Great, fun, festive product
A fun, festive decoration to create without all the wastage typical of christmas. My gingerbread man is looking adorable.I would like to say that this kit is not necessarily beginner friendly on its own. Without previous experience the pattern is quite hard to read and I think the lack of an experience level on the box could be quite misleading. However with a few quick youtube videos and some tenacity it’s more than doable.

Disappointing
I was so excited to start this project just in time for Christmas. However, I ran out of yarn ages before finishing and the instructions were not easy to follow. I would not recommend this if you want a product with the right equipment and that is easy to understand.

Not enough yarn
Like others said, not enough yarn to complete the project, despite sizing down to a 3.5 hook. Very frustrating to get to the top of the head and not have enough left to make the arms or the final 2 rows of the head.
