Not of any use
These should be off the shelf. I just purchased yesterday 30th March 2024 and they are not what it says on the packet. They are 15cm not 15 inches and definitely NOT 40cm.
After reading the reviews you have had you should have removed them from your shelves and taken the Company to task for misleading the purchaser.
I wasted my time, when in fact, I thought I was saving time by not having to wait for posting and so could take my new knitting project away with me.
This kind of sloppy trading makes me open boxes in stores, which is not something I’m glad to do.
Please make sure you don’t sell anymore.
The brand looks the part but is sadly lacking in care and attention.
Hobbycraft disappointed customer. ☹️

Not 40cm!
This cable is incredibly short - in no way is it 40cm. More like 10cm! It was so short I couldn't knit with it as the needles were too close together. Will be returning.

Very disappointing!
Collected my order today & started to use the Millard 40cm interchangeable cable with needles but I was unable to knit with them because the cable is too short. The cable is not fit for purpose and hence very annoying as I bought two sizes of needle to use with the cable.

A mistake - this does not work with 14 cm needles
This 40 cm loop does not work with the 14 cm interchangeable needles. It seems that Millward once sold 10.5 cm needles but Hobby craft do not stock them and they do not appear to be available anywhere on line. ideally this should be withdrawn from sale as you cant knit in a circle with them. I love hobby craft and I guess you just didn't know

Disappointing
I bought this Millard’s knitting cable 3 days ago. It’s useless it says 40cm which is what I needed. Instead it is 14cm impossible to knit with. This is not what I expect from a reputable brand such as Milwards. Looking back through the reviews this has been going on for months. Hobbycraft should remove them from the shelves.

Misleading and shorter than they say
Much like other reviewers say, I opened the product and found the cable to be less than 10cm, certainly not 40cm like it says. I also bought a 120cm cable which definitely is not 120cm, so will be returning them all to the store! Very misleading and should not be on the shelf.

Useless and half the size it is meant to be
Bought this in store a couple of weeks ago and have just opened to use and found it is short like all the other reviews say. So all the customer service replies about feeding back must be codswallop. Definitely impacted my opinion of Hobbycraft.

False size advertising
As another reviewer has already said, this is a far cry from 40cm - only measuring 15cm from the end of each screw. I would not recommend, as this is completely non-functional due to its much shorter length than advertised
