Perfect for beginners and advanced
I am relatively new to crochet but one thing I know about is having good tools for the job. Pony crochet hooks are smooth so the yarn doesn't catch, they have the neatest little thumb rest and the size of the hook is very clearly defined. The price is perfect so that a relative beginner like myself isnt put off buying quality products. I bought a range of Pony hooks because you never know what my next project will be. They range from teeny tiny to very large, to suit the range of yarns and projects also available at Hobbycraft (and what I have in my yarn stash!)

Teeny tiny crochet hook
I bought this to use with crochet cotton because you can make the tiniest little flowers. I wrapped it in some Sugru to form a larger handle making it easier to hold. Good quality hook.

To the rescue
After purchasing a fine knit jumper and having my pup jump up and pull several threads, this fine crochet needle came to the rescue and my jumper is band new again

Does the job
Crochet hook, is a crochet hook and it's a good one, I just use for dreadlocks so can't comment in terms of actual crocheting.
