Product too stiff to operate.
Very disappointed with counter as right side EXTREMELY stiff to turn. Tried loosening it with oil and WD40 but reverts to stiffness. Left side operates well but obviously turned less.

This is a must
So glad I bought this. Infinitely better than using my fiancé's 20sided gaming dice and then having other people move them and not make note of what sequence of numbers they were on. Now even if it gets knocked or dropped or rolled, I know it will still show how many rows I have crocheted.

i have used two of these. Both do what they're designed to, fit on a knitting needle and allow you to count the rows of a pattern or repeat. However, one had a very stiff 'tens' counter, making it harder to move. Since you only have to turn this every ten rows it's not a major problem but I did find it irritating. I don't know how common this is. The other works fine, no stiffness.

Highly recommended. Easy to wind on but not so easy that it slips.
For all knitters who don't recognise immediately what row they are on, this is the answer. No more scoring off numbers on a piece of paper...just a neat wee gadget on the knitting needle. Just make sure you remember to wind it on EVERY time you finish a row. That's the hard bit.

Pony Row counter
I would be lost without these because of sight problems I struggle to count the rows when knitting. Using a row counter also means I can put my knitting down and come back to it knowing exactly where I am on my pattern.
