The special lining of the Portapuzzle provides a rigid work surface and because the lining keeps all the pieces firmly in place you can assemble your puzzle at any angle. Individual puzzle pieces or sections can also be picked up and moved around easily.

This standard Portapuzzle 1000 is suitable for most standard 1000-piece puzzles (68 x 49 cm approximately).

Got it for my daughter who loves to do puzzles but finds it difficult on our lounge rug as it has a long pile. This fab board is now used for every puzzle she does! Wasn't sure she'd accept it as she is Autistic, but she loves it! No more frustration for her with trying to get the puzzle pieces to stay flat on our bumpy rug! It's smooth and flat, with a plush top surface...just perfect for moving the pieces around, and it's a really good size too, even for bigger puzzles. Obviously has none of the issues you get with a mat...no curling, rolling...its perfectly flat, sturdy and stows away easily. Highly recommended this product.

I bought this item from Hobbycraft and when I began my puzzle on it I noted air bubbles under the felt which prevented the puzzle lying flat and which pushed apart connected pieces. I returned the item with no issue and got a new one but the same thing happened again. Perhaps it’s a bad batch but I have given up and got a refund.

In the shop wrapped in cellophane it looked perfectly smooth. It was just what I needed, didn’t want a big one with flaps. This is awful once you start using it it goes loose and baggy lifting all the puzzle pieces More of a hindrance than a help

Popped it on top of her pull over table at her armchair and she can puzzle away in comfort, when she’s done she simply stores on the main table without having to pack away.

The sizes of the board are quite accurate but because the corners are curved and the board is slightly beveled, the jigsaw I bought along with it keeps slipping off the ends. The covering of the board does stop pieces from slipping but isn't a snug fit so it "puffs" in different areas. Not ideal for 1000 piece jigsaws even though the sizes stated on both products should have worked. Would be fine for anything smaller. Bought 2 "Mindbogglers" jigsaws with the board. I've only opened one but it wasn't the best quality. A couple of pieces are damaged (bent) and one broken. Also looks like one edge piece is missing. Not finished yet, so it could still be hiding somewhere. Intend returning the other unopened (when Covid rules allow) as it's the same make, so assuming it's the same quality. Quite disappointed.
