Great pen to write on icing.
Easy to write with on moulding icing. Thick end easier and can write small with it.

Was disappointed..
Bought this pen to add detail to Oreo cookie lollipops for Halloween. Was very disappointed as pen was dry and didn't do the job I was expecting it to. Perhaps it isn't designed to write on white Candy Melts?

Great pen for cake decorating
I was making a Spider-Man cake and needed to draw the face. This pen was great as I didn’t have to fiddle about trying to make it with icing. It is great for detail and the different ends are very useful.

Dissapointed
Barely drew anything at all, only faint lines and even then to get the line the icing dented. Was hoping this would work like a felt tip pen and draw easily. Extremely dissapointed

Tried once, going in the bin!
I bought a black and a red version of these to try out despite reading several negative reviews. I should have listened to the other reviewers! These pens were useless - I tried them out soon after they arrived and the flow of the ink was terrible so that you had to push into the icing to get any colour to come out. The result is a very unprofessional looking cake with uneven scribbles on, rather than the nice flowing text of the photos.
I'm really disappointed as they weren't cheap.

I purchased 2 of these the one doesn’t work at all and the other hasn’t done what I was hoping for which was to put line on dry fondant so not been impressed by them

Good writing pen for hardened icing
Best to wait till fondant icing hardens as the tip of pen gets clogged when fondant icing still soft but good to have a finer tip as well as thicker one.

Flow of edible ink is brill as is the double ended width, would definitely buy again. Done a harry potter theme birthday cake for my son.
