Not as red as you would expect
The product worked fine and did the job however, I felt that it was more “pinky” than red. I would not recommend this for any Christmas projects.

Excellent product, great quality
I have always used this food gel for my red velvet cake, it works a treat!
The strength of the red food color is strong enough that only a small drop is needed on most uses to get the required red colour. Also great for colouring royal icing and buttercream without altering the consistency due to its gel texture.

Good colour just not very much of it
The food colouring was a strong red, however due to the volume of what I was making I practically used the whole tube to achieve a red rather than a pink. I would use again when making smaller batches, just not large ones.

Intense colour
This was good and coloured everything required easily. Easy to use and gave a deep professional looking colour. I'd wear plastic gloves next time though!

bright colour, doesn't affect icing consistency
The colour is easily controllable for pastels, and not too much is needed to reach a good bright colour! The gel texture does not affect buttercream nor does it affect cookie dough for rolling. Have not tested with royal or fondant though.
