Rated 5 out of 5 by Pindy67 from Easy to work with I always use renshaw fondant icing to cover my cakes. It is easy to roll out, the feel and consistency is just right and easy to work with. It also colours well with gel or liquid food colours. I’ve used tylose powder in it too, to make gum paste, and it turned out fine. I’ve tried another brand of fondant but found it to be rather sticky and lacking structure even though I used icing sugar when rolling the fondant out, whereas Renshaw fondant doesn’t get too sticky and it holds its shape well. Renshaw fondant comes in a variety of colours and you can mix colours together easily.

Plenty of icing in packet, goes a long way and also very strong not like other icing that will break and tear when rolling

This fondant is nice and easy to roll out, and not to sticky. It smooths over cakes beautifully, creating a lovely even finish and great even colour.

Easy to use, moulded well without cracking and tasted lovely and not too sweet and sickly. Would buy again and I'm not usually a royal icing fan!
