Take to the skies with the Revell Bell UH-1H Gunship Model Kit!

Vietnam, March 1962. After seven years of war, Vietnam is still a crisis point. The US Army presses an experimental new helicopter, the HU-1, into service for aeromedical evacuation. Very quickly, other variants start pouring in. The UH-1H is an up-engined model capable of mounting desperately needed firepower. Multiple machine guns, rocket launchers, and door guns gave Hueys the ability to engage ground targets and support deployed troops.

The 1:100 scale model contains 70 parts that have been crafted to replicate this unique aircraft. This model kit is perfect for experienced model makers. The kit features rotating main rotor, open/closed main doors, and decals for the "Hornets" assault squadron in Vietnam.

Required a lot of sanding and filling for such a small model, which was very fiddly. Still, it was very cheap, and would be ok for a small gift.
