Too tall
These candles look lovely but they are too tall especially for the size of holders which are far too small. Even without using the holders the candles would have to go too deeply into the cake in order to stand upright. In the end I trimmed them by a third and they stood upright(ish). They may work better with a flat, dense traybake style cake.

Striking candles
I used these candles on my daughter's birthday cake - and they finished the cake beautifully!
One thing to note is that due to their length the candles have a tendency to tip over when in the candle holders. I didn't use the holders in the end, just pushed the candles into the cake and it worked perfectly. Very pleased.

Fantastic tall candles
After looking for taller candles I came across these, absolutely fantastic and when lit they didn’t even drip wax on the cake

Good colour but peel easy
The candles look lovely, but I found you have to be gentle with them as the outer colour can peel of easy.
