A good solid mat for everyday use
I just started model making after a 30 year gap and am using our dining table as a work surface so it was needed to protect this from any sharp objects or paint. It can definitely take a beating and the mat still holds up just fine. The only thing I would recommend is keep sandpaper or anything that could grind away at this away, as all numbers and lines are printed on. I accidentally hit a number with the rotary tool while sanding and the number has completely disappeared.
Doesn't slip around on the table and is self healing.

A necessity with a rotary cutter
I recently decided to try a rotary cutter for cutting my fabric and you can't really use a product like that without having a cutting board. I went for A2 because I wanted a good size that my full template would hopefully fit on, but didn't want to go too big because of storage issues. This is a good size (my template does fit on it fully) but if you have a lack of space storage might be an issue as you really need to store it flat. The grid and measurements on the mat are also great for helping size new templates and obviously when it comes to cutting out precisely

An awesome product
This item is a good size and really is self healing. It wipes clean easily too but I would suggest doing non-cutting crafts on the reverse side so not to get debris/moisture in the cuts.

Great size and quality.
I've used it extensively for:
Cutting, Writing, Gluing, Sewing & Measurements.It's honestly so handy not having to worry about damaging the table surface beneath.I've done some fairly hefty slicing and piercing of tough leather on it (involving a large amount of pressure with sharp implements) and nothing has gone through the mat.It's also dead handy for binning dust and scraps from projects. Just walk it over to the bin and you're done

Great cutting mat, excellent quality and perfect for modelling - two sided and the measurements in inches and cms make it perfect when using with my Cricut on card projects

Self healing is great
A good quality mat with very impressive self healing abilities, the edge of the mat can be a touch sharp but running a file gently around the edge solves the issue
