It is BPA-free, which makes it food-safe if you’re making bespoke cookie cutters or cake toppers. It is also fully biodegradable, with the PLA standing for polylactic acid.
Once the PLA filament is loaded into the head of the 3D printer and your design is sent, the head melts the filament and begins to layer the PLA in 0.05–0.5mm increments until your design is complete. You’ll be able to create a huge variety of designs, all from one roll.
