Discontinued yarns
The patterns are lovely but many are made with snuggly snowflake DK which is now discontinued. I asked Sirdar customer service to advise on a suitable alternative and was told that there is no alternative. Not particularly helpful so now stuck with a pattern book that I wouldn’t have bought if I’d known this in advance.

Lovely baby patterns
There are some lovely patterns in here for a new baby - and even older children as my toddler has requested a bunny after seeing it! The recommended wool is lovely to work with too and very soft. I've made the fluff edged cardigan and the instructions were very clear.

Beautiful knits, something for everyone.
This is the best pattern book I've purchased in a while. It has lots of variety for little ones from detailed blankets to quick and simple toys. With triplets expected in the family it will definitely be well used. The only problem was deciding which to start with!

Whoopee christmas gift cards from the family.
Hobbycraft is my first place to go to for crafting goods. My only regret is that you dont do card decoupage (which is my favourite) but then i suppose you would need a shop the size of a warehouse and my husband would go even more pLe than he does at each visit.

Beautiful patterns
There are so many wonderful patterns to choose from. I’m a beginner-intermediate knitter and these are perfect. Most of the patterns follow simple patterns with knit and purl stitches and all the instructions are very clear.

I'm always on the lookout for easy to follow patterns and this fitted the bill perfectly. Really easy to follow and very beautiful when knitted, would definitely recommend this book to anyone new to knitting.

Blanket with Boat Motif & Bear Comforter
Have just knitted both the Blanket with Boat Motif (in yellow) and the Bear Comforter for my first grand child and found both patterns easy enough to follow for a relative beginner like myself.

Lots of patterns
Great book. Lots of lovely patterns to knit for babies and 2 easy to knit blankets that look fantastic. I am sure I will return to this book to knit for family and friends.
