Nice pattern but difficult to follow
I wanted a pattern that would suit a new baby and an older sister without being identical.
This pattern features 3 different versions and a good range of baby and toddler sizes.
I am an experienced knitter but found some parts of the pattern a little difficult to understand and the confusion was worsened by the 5 pages of very densely printed instructions that jumped back and forth to cover the 3 styles.
The jumpers have come out very well but it took some effort to get there.

New knitter challenge
Helpful to have three designs to choose from, but I’m finding the pattern difficult to follow sometimes as it jumps between sections and I’m a beginner! The cardigan’s not finished yet, but the sections I’ve completed are looking nice and the border is lovely. It would probably be a breeze for experienced knitters.

Easy to Knit
Thanks to the pattern and a good choice of wool at Hobbycraft this pattern is easy to knit. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to do something special for a baby. An experienced knitter could even change the yarn thickness provided they ensured the tension was correct.

Possible misprint.
I am a competent knitter but found this pattern difficult to follow and the pattern wouldn't turn out like the picture so after several attempts i am now using the pattern as a guide to knit a garment with my own pattern. I also felt £3.50 was an extortionate price for it.

Very confusing pattern layout
I liked the look of this pattern so bought it but although the actual pattern is fairly easy to knit the layout of the printed pattern could be better. I am knitting the hooded jacket but have to refer to both the V necked version and round necked version to do so.

Satisfying pattern with good alternatives.
This is a pleasingly simple pattern and produces a delightful item. Using a pale colour such as lemon, enhances the look of the cable motif, whilst a more up-to-date look can be achieved with bold or strong primary colour.

write out pattern for easy reading
found this pattern very confusing and had to write out instructions took me a while to find the explanation of 3cb as it didn't advise use of cable needle. I would prefer if instructions were bit more spaced out.

Basic pattern with variations.
Although the pattern cost almost as much as the yarn it is a pattern which gives various alternative styles and sizes with good pattern effect. It looks complicated but is almost 'beginner' simple!
