Easy to use airbrush kit
This product is not worth the money I paid for it. Set it up as per instructions and tried to spray a 1/48 scale Spitfire model.Things started off ok but after a minute or two I started experiencing issues.
The problem with this set up is the propellant used for the airbrush. The cannister quickly began to freeze, blocking up the tube. The next session was worse as the propellant leaked due to a poor seal on the top of the propellant cannister. In my opinion this product is of such poor quality as to be regarded as dangerous. Buy a decent compressor instead. I spent £30 on something that is anything but easy to use as stated on the packaging.

Not fit for purpose
I bought this to get a good finish on the rocking horse I am restoring, for the first 20 seconds it worked well, but when I stopped the initial spray to move to a new area of the horse it stopped working. No amount of washing out with water, thinning the paint further or adjusting the flow rate or the compressed air made the slightest difference.
I would have tried a more expensive one, but was told hobbycraft don't supply onee so I received a refund, I have since found one is available on line, but I am hesitant.
Very disappointed.

Really not good at all
I rarely go out fo my way to give abad review to a product but in this case I am making an exception. This airbrush just flat out didnt work. Instantly the valve was leaking with no way to tighten it, the paint wouldnt come out of the pot because of the tube was turned the wrong way up so I had to use far too much paint for a fraction of the result. I used it for about 60 seconds and then wasnt able to get any mileage out of it at all.
I was a rough beginner that had done alot of reading before this and I have never been so disapointed in a product I was so excited to try.

Very Poorly Designed
Unfortunately, like others have reported, it only worked for 5 mins before giving up the ghost. I couldn't diagnose any specific reason other than poor design of the whole unit. It wouldn't even spray water after i cleaned it and checked all parts of the flow path were clear.

Dodgy - be very wary of the propellant leaking!!!
Assembled the product and used a cleaner first. Then changed to an acrylic paint, the valve on the propellant aerosol cannister was not fully engaged and it vented propellant and half the cannister was frozen solid. Do not touch, your skin will stick to the freezing cannister. Dangerous!!!

Model air brush
You only sell cans airbrush propellant. Pity you do not have a small air compressor too go with it.or sell separate save having to keep buying cans of propellant

Useless. Propellant valve does not seal
Hobbycraft...why are you still selling this? I bought in store so did not see these reviews but now I am going to miss my work deadline because you are selling a product that is known to be faulty. As others have experienced, the valve to the propellant is faulty and I cannot open the valve without the propellant flowing out at great pace into the room. The sprayer works while doing this but it is not safe to use. Will be returning this with a very grumpy face and explaining to my client that they will have to wait for the paint work to be done .

I wouldn't bother with this airbrush.
The connector to the propellant cannister has to be screwed of quickly as the air can leak from the sides otherwise. The plastic surrounding the canister connector has cracked and you loose a lot of air. The metal screw connector inside this plastic connector had come out and gluing it doesn't resolve the issue. The nozzle is hard to adjust to the correct spray pattern and can get blocked fairly easily. I found an airbrush on Ebay that is exactly the same as this one but for £10 less.
