The Tamiya De Havilland Mosquito B Mk.IV/PR Mk.IV Model Kit offers a fantastic premium quality, 1:72 scale plastic model kit. It can be built with the step-by-step instructions included and is ready to assemble.

This kit may be assembled into either the B Mk.IV bomber version or the PR Mk.IV photo-reconnaissance version of the multi-role twin-engined de Havilland Mosquito. The distinctive characteristics of these versions, such as the clear nose, canopy bulges, and crew access hatch with ladder have all been accurately reproduced.

Parts for the bomber version's 500lb bombs and the reconnaissance version's cameras are also included. To top it off, the kit comes with two pilot figures and three marking options, two for B Mk.IV and one for PR Mk,IV.

Tamiya has a reputation for detail and accuracy and this series is a perfect example of this.

Please note that paint and glue are not included in the kit.

All the pin hole ejection marks are in areas where you'll never see them and all the parts fit together with minimal need for filler or other fettling. I'll definitely be buying the FB variant later on. You can really detail this kit if you want too so the sky really is the limit for this aircraft.

I have yet to assemble it. I have inspected it and it seems to be a really good comprehensive kit with good clear instructions. I am looking forward to making this kit in the near future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sabrehunter from All you need to build a legend of the air Over 20 years old but not out of date, this kit has excellent detailing in the cockpit and wheel wells, there are 3 paint/markings options in the box making it great value too, a lot of model for a reasonable price well worth adding at least one to your collection, it will make a stunning centrepiece to any display I know mine will.

It should go together well and is perfect for someone of my experience and ability which I would describe as just left beginner and pushed into intermediate.
