This Tamiya Sanding Sponge Sheet is an abrasive sheet attached to a sponge, allowing modellers to remove protrusions from kits prior to assembly. The sponge sheet can also be used on wood and metal.

This sanding paper features aluminium oxide particles and is backed on 5mm-thick sponge. The sponge gives excellent flexibility, making it extremely useful to anyone working with plastic models, for example when smoothing off cut joints.

The sponge sheet can be cut into smaller sizes using a modeller's knife and can be used for wet sanding.
