I purchased this as it was just the colour I needed, however it was difficult to roll out to cover a 10 inch cake. The consistency is more of modelling paste, it took a while to roll out to the size required and started to dry out and looked a bit leathery in places. The up side was it covered the corners without splitting or breaking.

Sugar paste
Used to cover a crumb coated cake for my granddaughter’s birthday. Needed a lot of kneading before it would roll out evenly. Sugarpaste failed to adhere to crumb coat properly and was left with large bulges over sides of cake. Very poor quality

Dries out quickly
I have bought several packets of the new range from Hobbycraft and personally I don't like it as much. I find it dries out much quicker and more difficult to manipulate. The colours are good but I do prefer the former brand

Difficult to roll out.
The icing was very stiff, even after it had been kneaded for some considerable time. The taste was fine.
