It is thicker than what I am used to, but I am glad that I made the switch as suddenly my watercolour skills have improved drastically. And that's because of the quality. Absolutely love it and would recommend to all, especially for watercolour painters

If I had any issues with it - the only thing would be that it is not perforated so once you remove from the pad you can only get a straight edge by using an A3 paper cutter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Emmaleah from Slightly disappointed I bought this paper to complete some custom made orders who wanted to have something larger than my normal a4 pieces. The paper makes the watercolours quite pale and chalky. Which is something I can deal with. But one thing that I was really disappointed with is the fact it isn't actually A3. So when my artwork was going to be framed it was too small for the mount.
