Excellent floristry brick for all arrangements
I was very pleasantly surprised to open this product and find it a good sized floristry brick which absorbed the water quickly. It is solid enough to take the stronger, thicker stems of christmas/heavy foliage without it crumbling and will keep foliage/flowers alive for a good length of time considering how much water it will retain. An excellent priced, quality product, I shall definitely buy it again and recommend it to other flower arrangers.

Poor quality
First of all, there are no instructions with this floral foam. I used my knowledge of branded floral foam blocks to soak it. The water didn’t hold very well in the block and I had to water it a lot to maintain a balanced moisture. I would not use this brand again. The tray I bought at the same time was also of poor quality and leaked, which wouldn’t have helped the foam retain the moisture.

Just what i needed
This is brilliant value for money. After being quoted £90 by a local florist for funeral flowers i decided to visit hobbycraft and do it myself. I spent a grand total of £3 in hobbycraft on tray, oasis & tape then £12 on flowers and the result was just what i was looking for. Would highly recommend to others and will be repurchasing for future events, thanks!

Great item
We bought some big blocks of oasis, but we didn't use them for the intended purpose.
We used the blocks to place inside a bucket, to sit our 6 month old baby in, to do a celebratory breastmilk bath, to celebrate 6 months of breastfeeding. The oasis worked perfectly for what we used it for, and the pictures turned out beautifully!

Helped to save over 3/4 the cost of graveside flowers
Very easy to work with.
Helped me save over 3/4 the cost for some graveside flowers.
Florist flowers would have cost between £25-50.
Using this and some shop flowers ended up costing less than £10 and looked even better me my opinion.
Even better is the fact that I still have half left so I can still do other stuff too.

Very useful
I always try to have one of these on standby. I use them to make posy arrangements for friend for their Birthday. Recently, I made some for people who were leaving work and ended up getting an order for wedding flowers! These blocks don't crumble and hold water well. Ideal for small posies or larger arrangements. Would recommend.

Does the job
I buy this to make bouquets of sock flowers for family members when they have new babies or the occasional birthday gift it works great as you can cut it to what you need size and shape wise easily. You do have to take care with thin stemmed flowers though they can bend and break if your too rough with them.

Perfect for fresh flower arrangements
I searched everywhere just before Christmas for a wet flower arrangement oasis for my holly and ivy Christmas decorations and forgot that Hobbycraft sell them! I made 6 candle centerpieces for family and friends with fresh holly and ivy which worked out at 50p each and looked fantastic!
