Slightly disappointing, hence the 4 stars
I bought 6 lots of 400 gms of Women’s Institute yarn ( 3 for the price of 2) all different colours. They knit up very well to be honest but after I’d knit 4 bobhats I washed them in the sink and then put them in the spin cycle of the washing machine. All 4 seemed to have come out without any problems BUT the yarn can’t go in the washing machine…it can only be hand washed which is a bind , or can be dry cleaned ( dry clean a Bob hat ?) …so the washing experience put me off. I can’t envisage using the yarn for a jumper because it would be too bulky .

It really is soft and smooth
For an aran wool this is beautifully soft and easy to work with both for knitters and crochet. Cant get enough of this. Only issue is lack of colour choices in shop. I know I can order online but I do like to feel what I'm buying.
