Hobbycraft give knitters the hobby they enjoyed back in the day when tiny wool shops were around!!!!
Love Love Love ❤️ Black yarn I purchased. I have been making my grandkids for Christmas based on the new Chanel scarf which I have knitted … they cost £650 and £1000 on two different designs I am knitting both
A huge huge huge saving as the amens institute hobby craft black double knitting acrylic is so cheap
I really am able to enjoy my hobby of knitting and crotchet as if it was not for hobby craft I would not have this enjoyment in my life!!!!! All the tiny wool shops of the 70s 80s 90s have all closed down but thank Hobbycraft for keeping me happy with my hibby

Slightly disappointing
Not as soft as some of the other yarns but it seems to be difficult to find soft black baby yarn at hobbycraft. Unfortunately halfway into my project, I came across a knot where two ends had been tied together. Since I expect this project to be tugged and pulled its not ideal to have a weak spot in the yarn.

50 Shades of Black Wool
I ordered 9 balls of this wool with the hope of knitting 2 jumpers. I had been into the Hull store a couple of times and there wasn’t enough in stock so ordered online. When I looked over my order at home the balls had different batch numbers which wouldn’t have been too bad if they were similar shades but one ball was that light it was practically grey so would stand out really badly. Wouldn’t order wool online again. The order was ready next morning so I can only assume it must have been picked from a new delivery at the Hull store.

Great product
The product was a very good price and there’s a great deal to buy three more for such a bargain. It is of great quality and i’m very satisfied with it. I have bought it again multiple times and plan on buying it again in the future. Would definitely recommend!!

Wool
I use the women's institute wool for making blanket s for charities such as salvation army , British legion, shelter, dog's trust. Their wool is easy and strong enough to use and when its on a 3for 2 price makes it more affordable for me as I'm only on a state pension and donate the finished blankets as my way if helping charities the best I can and crochet and knitting is a therapeutic way of relaxing. I also teach simple crochet to children and adults with mental health issues .

Perfect for use and a good shade :)
Great ball of DK Yarn! Made a baby blanket for my nephew pending and the big brother wanted a blanket made for himself and his favourite colour is black. Couldn't find any yarn available in the amount I needed until I saw this one and its done the job :) Just what I needed and saved the project, as you can imagine a 3 year old really can't wait! Perfect for beginners to practice with also. 100% recommend!
