Waste of money
This pack was very disappointing. There was a very unequal distribution in the number of letters. There was only one each of U, V, W, X, Y, Z. but 15 A's! This meant that despite there being 136 letters in total it was impossible to spell things like, Mummy, Daddy or Happy Birthday. I bought these to be a stocking filler for my granddaughter on Christmas day and initially she loved them until she realised that there wasn't much that she could do with them. I would have returned them but they had been put aside and I forgot to bring them home with me. One star because they are basically a good idea and quality was good.

Well made
I only really wanted to spell AMY and JENNY, but the price was very reasonable so I bought the whole box. I got carried away and decided to put WITH LOVE FROM MARK as well. The letters are well made and easy to colour and varnish. So all was going well until I discovered that there was only one Y!
I broke a bit off a couple of K’s and they looked ok. I guess it must be difficult trying to work out how many of each letter will be required in all circumstances, but I hoped that a couple of Y’s wasn’t out of the question!
Overall I was pleased with my purchase.

Solid but not enough variety
The pieces themselves are solid, and look good for the price. I bought these to use for a mother's day gift for my wife and another for my mother, maybe I just got unlucky but my pack had 10 J's, but only 1 U, and 1 Y. This put paid to my attempt to write Happy Mother's Day twice.
Had to improvise and cut some pieces up, but once coloured in with sharpie you couldn't really tell.

Letters
I bought a 2 tubs of letters 136 I think or somewhere around their in each pot as it didn't tell how many of each letter, only to find their were plenty of extras loads of e a, f, their was only 1q 1z but plenty of others good product could just do with putting amounts on label, but from a business point of veiw if u don't label with all that information then if your a customer like me you'll buy 2 or even more

Hobbycraft- we weren't born yesterday.
I can understand putting a few extra letters of certain more common letters bit TOTALLY stingy with certain letters.
Genuinely a nice product, had the below not have been so painfully obvious which got my goat up, I'd have put 5* BUT..
Frustrating and can only imagine this is a commercial decision which they'd have NO intention to adjust to prevent people 'selling on the leftovers so people are forced to pay full price for a new box. Very crafty, if you can excuse the pun. On the listing it comes up as 'Frequently bought with' what is normally used as a wedding post box and funnily enough there is only ONE 'W'. Similar to what others posted but come on hobby craft, don't be so tight. There should be BARE MINIMUM of 3 of each letter. Just provide a product for all and be fair. People will return for the quality, but I'd deliberately go elsewhere for a lesser standard for this time of mentality toward customers.

Only one of each letter for ‘u’ and ‘w’ in a pack
Good quality however completely let down by some letters only having one of each included in the pack. ‘U’ and ‘w’. I was unable to finish a project and had to return to the store to buy another pack despite there being 136 letters in the box. I feel packaging should outline how many of each letter are in a pack to save any future inconvenience

Jars of wooden letters
Been looking for wooden letters for a while. Just popped into my local Hobbycraft to purchase something else and as was heading to the checkout I spotted the jars of letters did also have jars of numbers (next visit). These look lovely on knitted hearts for someone special.

Poor choice of letters
Drove 25 minutes to my closest hobby craft for these letters in hindsight should have bought two jars, there was 11 letter M’s 10 letter J’a and only one letter U which I needed 3 of. Why can’t they do 5 of each letter of the alphabet ?
