A mere necessity.
I have moved from Bexhill on Sea to Torquay just over a year ago, and within my small garden, I have erected a small shed.Inside is my model railway, which I am building.
Hobbycraft in Newton Abott have exactly what I wanted, the green matting that is used under the tracks, so that the rails can be fixed on the matting, and where the trains don't run, the greenery now boasts houses, farms, etc on them.
I am so pleased Hobbycraft had what I wanted, even though the store is twenty minutes away from my home, the trip is well worth it.
Incidentally, I have gone back to the store to purchase a small hammer and tacks so that the track can be laid on the green surface.

Very disapointed as surface comes off and leaves a green deposit on hands, clothes etc
Wanted to use this as a green field on a farm I was building for my Grandson.
Realised as soon as I started to glue the product to a base board, that it was unsuitable as my hands and anything that touched the surface turned green.
Imagine what would happen to children's clothes.

Not wonderful unless for flat areas.
Not really suitable for anything but flat pieces. When manipulated into hills ect..the grass (flocking) comes off. The colour also comes off, it required a fixative spray to stop it.
