Step 1

Gather your threads, beads, sequins, fabric, and tools, then print out the embroidery sheets.

Step 2

Press your fabric, trim to size and place backwards in the hoop.

Trace the design onto the hoop using an erasable fabric pen and a good light source/light box.

Step 3

Remove the fabric from the hoop and cut another piece the same size.

Place both pieces of fabric in the hoop, making sure the design is in the centre.

Step 4

Take the DMC Diamant thread and thread a piece through a thin needle (approx. needle size 7-10).

Satin stitch the word 'Cheers'.

Step 5

Take DMC thread 738, split so that you have two strands, and split stitch the glass outlines.

Step 6

Take three strands of DMC thread E677 and fill the champagne with rows of back stitch.

Take one strand of DMC thread E677 and back stitch around the bubble shapes.

Step 7

Take two strands of each thread colours 353, 991, 351, 912, 783, 3328 and add French knots and single stitches to do the confetti at the top.

Use colours 351, 353 and 991 to do the confetti around the 'Cheers'.

Step 8

Take the sequins out of the box - one by one add the sequins to the confetti, use the DMC Diamant thread to stitch.

Add the seed beads using the DMC Diamant thread too.

Step 9

Once you are happy with the beads, pull the fabric tight, trim any excess fabric and use a gather stitch to tighten the fabric at the back of the hoop.

Step 10

Leave the hoop 24-72 hours to allow the pen marks to disappear.
