It's back to the Drawing Board with this handy A2 wooden surface!

This board will support your drawing, sketches, acrylic painting and note-taking, with a sturdy back that can be placed on knees, tables and unstable surfaces to provide you with a smooth underlay from which to work from.

The board contains a cut-out for you to carry your board conveniently. For drawing and painting, use a line of masking tape to secure your paper down before you start for optimum stability.

It is meant for use with dry mediums only and not for watercolour painting. Made of MDF, it is porous and will absorb liquid easily.

A great arts and crafts essential, the creative process has never been so smooth!

I bought this board because I needed a flat surface to use for both drawing and watercolour painting, however it isn't suitable for wet applications as it is basically just compressed fibre board with no coating. Still useful, but even though it was quite cheap, I was expecting something better than what I can buy in the hardware store for a similar price.

Someone bought it for me recently and oh my gosh, it actually makes things so much easier. I have limited space and this means I can keep my project on here and just transfer it on and off my table when I need to use my table to eat etc.

I purchased this board to use it as my weekly project planning board. I can clip three A4 pieces of paper to it and I still have plenty of room for sticky notes as well. This means I can easily break down my projects into detailed tasks and keep track of them. And since it’s always in front of me, I can easily see what I need to do next! As I have a chronic illness, I can’t always work at my desk, where this board lives. However, it is light to carry and the handle means I can easily take it with me when I am working in my rocking chair or in bed. Plus it’s very robust. I’ve dropped it more than once and it has not been damaged at all. This is a brilliant board that you can actually use for multiple purposes, not just drawing. I’ll be getting another one my daughter one for college as well.

I intend to buy more of these. Much better than the sheets of hardboard or MDF I've been using up to now

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mickylee from Handle to carry with and smooth edges I brought one of these only few months back as little protection for table while crafting. It great size and slides under sofa lovely for storage. The handle hole helps me be able to pull it out easily when i need it. I have since brought another so have ome for messy crafts and one for clean work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hannah98 from Fit for purpose The board is nice and sturdy and perfect for its purpose. Only criticism is that there is some glue residue from the sticker that won’t come off and when i put paper on the board it sticks to this.
