X4 Warhammer Board
Made a great lightweight, seperable warhammer gaming board for myself and some buddies out of 8 of these A1 boards. Doubled them up and joined them with hot glue, filla on top and finished off with paints of your choice, some pva and ballast; which made for a perfect board to play tabletop games on.
Was super easy to do and theres endless possibilities for themes too as the foam is easy enough to carve cracks, craters and rivers along it with a hobby knife tool. Even used some polymer clay to sculpt some lava pools and hotglued these inplace on the board.
Considering usig some smaller pieces to now make some terrain for the board using the same process.

Best foam board I've used for RC planes
I've tried other brands of Foam board, but for making RC model aircraft I've found the best is the Westfoam board that I purchase from Hobbycraft. So, why is Westfoam the best? Well, the lighter an RC plane is, the better it will fly. In certain parts of an RC airframe, the Westfoam boards can be lightened by removing the covering on one side (using heat from an electric iron), this also allows you to curve the board more easily, to get a smooth aerofoil shape for the wings.
I'm fortunate to have a branch of Hobbycraft in my home town and Westfoam board has always been in stock.

Good product, easily available
This product is a staple of presentations, craft workers, model makers and many others. It is readily workable, can be cut and glued to pretty much any shape, and comes in a variety of sizes. For me the only practical size is A1, and this is where Hobbycraft have got their act together. There is always a large stack of A1 foamboard available, and at a remarkable saving if you buy 4 sheets. Equally important is that the boards are clean and smooth, and the corners tidy and undamaged. I get through a lot of this product, and Hobbycraft is my go-to place when I need more.

Quite heavy foamboard. Still flies well.
Have now built around 60 planes from this foamboard.
Good strength and holds up to crashes quite well.
The paper doesn't separate easily from the foam core even when wet.
It is quite heavy, so larger motors etc. are needed than most builds from the USA.

As described but slightly damaged from delivery
The foam board was adequate for what we wanted (to mount a wedding table plan) but was damaged in nearly all corners. Luckily we needed to trim it down anyway but if you need it full size the edges were slightly crushed.

The possibilities of foamboard are endless
Fantastic product. I enjoyed working with foam board so much I bought more! I made some dollhouse furniture: seatte, sofa, fireplace & bathroom sink at the moment. It’s worked out way cheaper than buying the furniture

Just what I wanted at a great price
I purchased 3 foam boards to do my seating plan for my wedding (one for the plan, 2 spares!) They were exactly what I wanted. I gave 4 stars because my boards were crumpled a half inch in one of the corners due to the packaging not being particulary robust. Its hardly noticeable now they're painted but if you need it prestine, probably better to get it in store.
Best price I could find online. I really recommend them.

Foam Board A1. White&Silver
I viewed Foam Boards on the website but was new to buying this product so wanted to check in store. Hobby Craft showed me the stores, this product had in stocked.
I chose a Silver A1 Foam Board and also bumped into someone in the shop who was looking at Foam boards too so we went half on the A1 White Foam Boards that was 4 for £10 (great deal for the size).
I love the size and the price is great.
I needed to mark pencil on the board and it was easy to see the markings on the board.
I would buy these again when needed from Hobby Craft.
