Rated 5 out of 5 by S P Overton from Good board When I received my drawing board in the post I had some doubts regarding the lip and the bottom and the texture of the wood however these doubts were quickly banished when I started using it. I’ve so far used it for pencil drawing on A6, A5, and A4 papers as well as some canvas paintings. The lip has come in handy for quick equipment changes (pencil to eraser etc) and rotating canvases quicker than securing and re-securing my easel. The wood texture has not presented an issue so far and is actually quite smooth when you run your fingers over it. The rubber feet on the bottom have prevented slipping on my desk surface. Well worth the money.

It was a very special day, For my wife and for me, Because it was our forty-first Wedding Anniversary...... My wife paints watercolours And she's getting very good, She asked me for a drawing-board - I said I'd get one if I could.... So off to Hobbycraft I went, One winter afternoon, And found the perfect one for her - She's quite over the moon !! The staff were very helpful, Showed me what was in store, Helped me and advised me too, They could have done nothing more !! So if you want something for your hobby, Want kind and helpful staff, There is just one place to go to And that is Hobbycraft !!

I do however have a ottoman in the middle of the small living room, next to the settee. I was tired of crouching over to create my illustrations on my lap and decided to buy this in hopes of making illustrating a little more comfortable. This has helped my posture greatly as I am able to sit up straight with my head up to draw, which has removed my risk of rsi which has concerned me in the past. This board is super easy to set up and flatten again for transport, it is honestly perfect for what I wanted it for. Would highly recommend.

It's great as a table top easel but equally comfortable using it on your lap. Thoroughly recommended and the price is unbeatable too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CharcoalSnek from Loveee First table Easel I've owned, I was origianlly going to get the A3, but I thought, may as well get the bigger one as I'll never know for the future. It's easy to build up and dismantle down to fit somewhere when not using! I would diffinitly reccomend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Raine2757 from Great item This drawing board was just what I wanted. It's a good size and holds A2 comfortably in landscape position but not portrait. A3 fits perfectly both ways. Sometimes it can slide on my table top a little when I lean on it but I will eventually be fixing it to a workbench. The frame is quite thick around the edges of the drawing board so my bulldog clips don't fit but that's not the end of the world. Overall I am very pleased and the price was great. Perfect for budding artists.

Does that job perfectly, wish I had bought it so much sooner! Very lightweight, easy to store, good price. Highly reccomend it to anyone that's never used a drawing board before, you'll never look back!
