Easy to cut and use
The basswood is very quick and easy to cut - I used a hacksaw, which did not take much effort. Sanding easily shapes and smooths the edges. I then used waterbased emulsion paint to cover the wood - it needed 2 coats, but I am happy with the finish.
The wood was used to make a bespoke sized 3D box frame (no where seems to do 3d frames in any dimension other than square so I made one myself!).

Very sturdy
I bought these to make a box frame for a resin project and they worked really well. The wood is sturdy with very little bend which made them ideal for this use. I am not entirely sure what they were originally intended for but I plan to use them to clad a box when I am fed up of making a mess with resin. They are also nicely finished, very smooth with no splintering or warping. I would recommend for a multitude of projects!

Spoilt object for use.
Just wish the bar code identity label was smaller. Having probably been stuck on the wood for some time, it was not easy to remove and left a mark which was difficult to remove. Because it was so large it left a disfigurement on surface which spoilt difficult to avoid when laying out the pattern for cutting.
Other than that pleased with the product.

It’s only wood but small in stature
I know it’s only a piece of wood but that piece of wood has become a modern item of furniture in my mini house and being small is perfect for miniatures. Wish I could show a pic but visualise a 4 x cube with baskets inside - modern and easy peas.

Strong and sturdy
