laptop craft tray
This is a great idea for those that can multi task and those that cant. You can work anywhere in the house not just at the table ( and watch tv at the same time). A great size for most tasks, and with the light attatched it makes fiddly jobs a lot easier.

So handy for all your craft needs, perches on your lap perfectly ! Fantastic for doing your crafts in front of the telly. Ideal for sewing projects,card making e.c.t And with the added bonus of a posable LED light Also a cup holder which can double up as a holder for button ,pins ,scissors or glue and any other bits & pieces you need to hand. Bargain buy in the Black Friday sale,but I still would of paid the full price,as it is worth every penny ,have used it everyday since purchase.How did I manage before I bought it ?. Highly recommend as a very useful ,worthwhile purchase !!

Great value for money
I use this laptray for drawing and sketching on, and it's perfect for this purpose as the surface is non-slip and the light has a flexible arm that can be angled to shine the beam wherever you need it. The arm also folds neatly down for storage. The cushioned base allows for comfortable and secure positioning on your lap - great for curling up on the sofa with. I would have rated it five stars if the light beam had had a wider splay, but to be fair what can you expect for only a tenner?! At this price you can't really go wrong, and in fact I've bought another one as a back up!

good useful well designed product
this is a very useful well made product the tray is strong and firm with comfortable cushion. The addition of a light is an excellent Idea as it allows me to craft on when the light is dwindling. I can now continue to craft even when my partner is sitting watching television.

Great lap tray
This is a fantastic lap tray, I use it for all my art and crafts projects and it's a great size, feels sturdy and is very comfortable to use. Plus the small led light is really handy and gives off a great amount of light, it is much brighter than I was anticipating. The holder for water pots or keeping your craft bits safe as you work is a good feature too. I would recommend this tray!

Very useful and handy but a few personal niggles.
Very useful and handy lap tray. Personally though, it has a few drawbacks:
- Being a lefty it would be nice if there was a version of this tray with the light on the right and the circular recess on the left. I have to turn it round 180° if I'm writing, drawing, colouring etc. and I need the light on.
- The one I have could do with a little more filling but I can rectify that easily enough.
- I wouldn't mind a slightly bigger diameter for the recess too but that's just me being fussy because my favourite mug doesn't fit in it. 😋

Great tray, lamp not amazing
Love the tray, absolutely fantastic... But disappointed with the lamp, not fantastically bright and only lights up a small area, so when I use it I have to have other lamps on around me and have the tray lamp pulled close to the tray and items I'm crafting myself.
Now I'm a 34yo woman who has great eye sight but if an older person bought this they probably wouldn't get then benefit of the lamp they are expecting.
But I still give this item 4/5 because it saves my back or having to use make shift trays when completing projects

Cheap and Cheerful
Overall I am pleased with the product and I think it is a good price for a functional lap tray. It's a good size and the plastic surface is solid. I haven't found the light that useful yet, it is good to illuminate one small spot but no good if you want some added light over your whole work surface. The fleece bottom is low quality and there is polystyrene stuck to the underside of the plastic which adds to the cheap feel of the underside. However I think it's a great budget lap tray overall and can't argue with the price

Just the job!
This tray is fantastic, just what I was needing. It is a well thought out design and the light is a welcome addition. In general it is put together well, and is excellent value for money. I would certainly recommend it for your crafty projects on the sofa!
The tray does require 2 x AA batteries that are not included, for the light.

Love the light
I bought 2 of these products one was chipped and the other had quite afew marks on it where it had been scratched etc also there doesn't seem as much padding in that one. I haven't complained as I had them when they were reduced to £10 and it still does the job I want it for however at £25 I would think twice at even purchasing it.

This the 2nd of this craft lap trays I have purchased. On the 1st one the wires from the lamp broke, it seemed fragile. I checked this one as soon as i got home and voilà a much more sturdy connection.
I do love these trays, especially that they have a lamp on, makes crafting so much easier and is comfortable to use.

This product is so handy
I am a keen cross-stitcher and often find myself stitching well into the evening when the light is not so good. This product is fantastic and enables me to keep all my bits and bobs easily to hand, as well as having a light that lets me carry on working 'til all hours. For the price of only £12, it's great.

Very useful and comfortable.
I enjoy sitting on my sofa while working on crochet projects with the TV on in the background and a cup of tea to hand. This handy little tray allows me a comfortable work space where I can easily reach my mug without having to move my work out of the way every time I want a sip. It's the little things, after all. The light is very useful for counting stitches and closely inspecting my project. It isn't the brightest of lights and so I still need a larger light alongside it but this isn't really an issue.

Very good
This is great for crafting if you want to sit on the sofa rather than at a table. It is a nice size and the surface is slightly textured. The light is really good and the cup holder for bits and bobs is very useful. It has a handle so you can carry it easily.

Craft lap tray
Bought the tray to keep my crochet all together when sitting in front of the TV or in bed. Also think it will be very helpful when knitting with beads to stop them getting lost. Does the job well and the light is useful for close up fiddly bits.

Value for money.
I am so pleased with the lap tray with integral led lamp. It is comfortable & has a good sized surface area for working on. The light is excellent for evenings or more intricate work. It is excellent value for money.

Disappointed with this item.
The light isn't very bright, the batteries fall out everytime I put it down and the filling isn't secure.
Overall, poor quality item.
The price is the only thing good about this item.

Useful and very comfortable
Unfortunately the bean bag inside the desk had a hole so when we tried to put the batteries in, it went everywhere.. thankfully hobbycraft are very good at changing damages items...

Lovely little lap tray
This tray is perfect for my crafting and the light is a added bonus ,the cup holder is handy to not just for cups but any small items I want to keep still. I recommend this item for all crafting .

Poor quality

This is a very useful item; the beanbag bottom means it sits on my lap securely and the little pot is handy for scraps and off-cuts. Come the winter, the LED lamp will be invaluable.
