Great service and value
Having received a quote of £86 from a local frame maker to make a very similar type of frame (!), I was keen to find an alternative frame supplier. I couldn't believe the price of these frames from hobbycraft, and thought it might be a case of you get what you pay for, but I couldn't have been more wrong! I ordered two and they arrived promptly, extremely well packaged, and were just what I wanted. I didn't use the mount card as I wanted to frame square prints, but the mounts were also very good quality. I would definitely recommend and will buy more frames in this range in the future for other sized prints we still need to frame

Not 16 x 16 inches, had to return
Needed a 16x16 inch frame for a print. Bought this frame in store as the image on the front indicates it’s the right size, however it’s smaller than 16x16inches. Wished we checked the website before purchasing - where the description is different to the info on the product image. Had to return.

Good quality frame, excellent value
We bought this frame for a 40x40cm photo, which was printed with a white margin, so we didn't use the mount. The mount is lovely quality, if you do want to frame several pics as intended. The frame was the most suitable one we could find in this size, and we are delighted with the result. The quality is good, and the price was reasonable.

Nice frames but some drawbacls
I bought two Hobbycraft multi-aperture frames to display a number of photos. Generally they are both good, they seem very robust and the appearance will coordinate well with my other frames. However both have two issues which I was not expecting and are somewhat disappointing. Firstly since the advertised aperture sizes correspond to standard photo sizes, I expected the apertures to be sized to fit the advertised size of photo - ie for 7x5” the aperture would be perhaps 6.75x4.75” so the image would fit nicely behind it. In fact the apertures are almost exactly the same size as the prints which means the look is much less smooth and I’m considering having replacement mounts cut to fit the frames. Secondly there is no wall-hanging hardware on the back of these frames which is something I haven’t come across for a long time. I have the equipment to fit hanging hooks and wire but this is a lot more work and honestly I wouldn’t have bought the frames if I’d realised.

Delighted with purchase!
I ordered 2 of these frames for delivery to store and they arrived the next day! I got a call from a very helpful lady to say they were in and they would keep them safe until I was able to collect them. Lovely frames, great value for money and they look fab on my photo wall going up the stairs :)

This product can be used in every room !
I have looked at many photo frames for my house and found this one in Hobbycraft and it was good price compared to other retailers
They looked so expensive and well made when I put my photos in them and everyone asks where they come from !
