Don't know why the design was changed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cross stitch lover from Looks good Purchased this to frame my cross-stich tapestry I had done whilst I was laid up at home with a broken ankle. I hobbled into the store on my crutches with my husband and when asked about picture frames was told they were at the back of the shop. It would have been nice to have been offered some more assistance as walking was very difficult but I needed the frame to finish my work.

The mounts can vary in size slightly so photos need to be slightly larger than aperture if using the mounts. On these the aperture is 20x20 with mount, photos at 21x21cm minimum ensure no gaps or since i already ordered 20x20 photos i used a black piece of card behind the photos and looks spot on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ladyloucrafts from Good frames at sale price. Although these frames are still better than the normal box frames they have considerably gone down in quality. Both weight wise and material wise. Would definitely only buy these when half price. The ones I bought last year were by far superior then the ones I received in my last order. Hence only 3 stars.

Easy to disassemble, fit the layers and lights in and reassemble again. Perfect for the job - well made, sturdy and a lovely finish to them. Worked so well for me that I went back a few days later and bought some more.
