The Helium Balloon Canister is perfect for blowing up balloons for any event! Create spectacular helium balloon bouquets by mixing both foil and latex balloons along with curling ribbon and balloon weights to produce eye-catching party decorations or table centrepieces at your next celebration.

For best results inflate your balloon one to two hours before your party starts.

The float time for latex balloons is five to seven hours on average, while foil balloons are likely to last noticeably longer. Float time can vary significantly based on the level of inflation, size of your balloon and external factors such as temperature and altitude.

The lightweight, disposable helium-filled tank features an easy-to-use nozzle and carry handles to transport it easily. It also comes with a cardboard balloon sizer and inflation instructions to allow for safe balloon inflation. When empty, the disposable helium tank can be easily placed in your household recyclable waste.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jams5678 from Balloons won't float. I bought this 4 days before I needed it and followed all the instructions carefully. I only managed to fill 11 balloons, as they were character balloons this may have been due to their size but it is hard to tell. This was not the main issue as this was all I needed to inflate. The biggest issue was that only the first 4 balloons I filled floated, the rest just sank. I raised the issue with customer care. Hopefully they speak to the supplier of the gas to get the quality checked as it's very disappointing. Make sure you get a receipt and keep it safe incase you have the same issue as you can't get a refund without it. I did manage to get a £15 voucher still.

Bought two large bottles to inflate helium quality balloons, they floated for an hour and were floor level by the time the party started. Given I tried with both canisters shows there is definitely a quality issue with the helium, and really should be removed from sale. Absolute waste of £80, totally ruined my vision for the setting. Given they have gone up in price in the last week I would absolutely recommend you to NOT waste your money in purchasing these. I called the store to explain what had happed, but I may of well been talking to a brick wall….not bothered at all, and was informed that they are excluded from the returns policy…..surprise surprise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Debgav from Disappointed Bought this in store, wish I had read the reviews online first! Didn't blow up anywhere near as many balloons as it states it does. Blew balloons up for my sons party on morning of his party but by the next morning they were all on the floor! Had hoped to have enough helium left in tank to use for my husbands birthday but didn't even have enough to blow up all the balloons for my sons party. Will have to buy another canister but definitely won't be buying this one again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Minok from Didn’t keep balloons afloat Bought this super excited for my partners birthday. Had a whole 2 packs of balloons (bought from 2 different shops). I used the helium to blow all of these up the previous night (around 10pm) ready for the morning! I wake up ready to get them to surprise my parter and they had ALL blown down!! Sadly some of these were rubber ones where you tie the balloon so I couldn’t un-do these, I did however manage to re blow the foil ones back up. Sadly again by the end of the day they were all deflated :( I thought at first it was the type of balloons but considering I bought from 2 different retailers and 2 types of balloons I’ve concluded it must be the helium. Super super disappointed, will not be purchasing again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LEdw from Don't waste your money The canister blew up 6 small ballons (designed for helium) and then the can was empty. Its is advertised for 30. The ballons we did get out of it were on the floor within 6 hours. Very disappointing and left us out of pocket.

I thought maybe the tank became faulty because I let it sit for a few weeks before use. I bought a 2nd tank on a Wednesday. On Saturday I had a party very excited, I blew the ballons closer to the time of arrival for my guests. Not even the smallest balloon floated in air. I was very disappointed and embarrassed because i had to explain to each guest. I will never purchase again

Rated 3 out of 5 by SallBo from Used can?!? I’ve purchased many helium canisters from HC in the past & never had a problem. However, I really regret not checking the valve at the time of purchase. The valve on my canister would not open AT ALL and my husband had to use strong pliers to get it undone. It blew up the first numbered helium balloon well but then nothing after that. I was gutted as it was late at night & we were inflating my daughter’s 13th balloons. The rest we had to fill with normal air & hang instead. We were so upset. I think we must’ve been given a return item. As much as this wasn’t a pleasant experience, it wouldn’t stop me from purchasing this item again. I would just highly recommend you check the valve before you leave the store.
