Does the job.
Id say you get what you pay for. Its £7 and this reflects in the product. It does the job but you have to get used to it as it doesnt tend to feed the new glue sticks through well. Until the end of the new stick is actually inside the gun I have to keep nudging it down to push the old one down as the trigger doesnt grab it. It does tend to have a knock on effect when the new glue reaches the nozzle as its difficult to pump enough glue through. Its a bit of a pain but it doesnt appear broken or faulty so I havent returned it. If it was for a child I wouldnt buy just because you need 6 hands to work it at times.

Fantastic Glue Gun
Wow, I didn't even realise that there was such a thing as a cool glue gun. It will change my hobby life. Previously I was using my hot glue gun and getting my fingers burnt at times, no such worry with this. The heat is just slightly warm, no more burnt fingers, but it glues just as well as my hot glue gun, at least on the items I have tried so far. It's also a fantastic price, well done Hobbycraft 10/10

Purchased as I didn’t want kids to use my hot gun. Heats up quickly and easy for 8 year old to use. Not quite as good as hot melt gun but safer for kids to use.

Love my new glue gun! Absolutely fantastic value and great quality. Heats up relatively quickly and does the trick! Would 100% recommend!

This item is not great.
A low price and you can tell why. Takes ages to heat up and glue comes out very very slowly and dries before you can stick anything to it. Needed for my daughters art project but now we are going to have to buy a better one.

Blue mini cool melt gun
It’s perfect and so far so good it heats up relatively quick and glue sticks(Hobbycraft 50pk) worked well so my little crafts & large projects.
After use & make sure you keep the tip area glue free, it’s easily picked off when cooled right down
Worth the money and happy with it.

The first gun delivered was faulty, The glue sticks would not feed through. I spoke to an assistant at the local store by telephone and he agreed to exchange . This meant visiting the store which I was trying to avoid by ordering on line. It was quick and easy to hand in the gun and a credit note issued. I then chose another of the same model and that has worked well. The only problem with the glue is that it dries VERY quickly so I have to have everything ready to stick.

I bought this glue gun months ago and have only just got around to using it. I spent a fortune on extra glue sticks at the time. At first it gave a few dribbles when it first heated it up. I have spent all afternoon persevering leaving it to continue heating. Adding an extra glue stick and pushing it and squeezing the trigger. So now no free hands to work with. It gives a dribble occasionally which dries so quickly there is little time to place felt to be stuck in place. It is still plugged in but nothing comes out now. The nozzle is clear. Very much do not recommend.
