It is a protective mat, not suitable for crafting
I bought this craft mat to be able to wipe off an craft marks, drips, spills, etc, easily, even if dried. I got glue on it and it won't come off when dried, thought the dried glue would just flake off. The material is a rubbery type so when something dries on it, it stays forever. I have contacted Hobbycraft, but they just told me to be careful when using it.
I just wanted to warn crafters that this is a protective mat for the surface you are working on, not suitable for crafting as you will still have to put something on top of it like a plastic sheet to protect the craft mat. You couldn't make this up
