first time of using Gilding Flakes
As a novice I can only give my opinion on these gilding flakes ... I found them very easy to use AND a little goes a LONG, LONG way.
I want to give some advice to other novices when using them for the first time ... put the pot into a deeper container before opening the lid.
Do not use with open windows, fans or air conditioning.
You need a special tacky glue (or double sided tape) to stick them to.
If you could use them with anything else then I am sure the packaging would state this?
The results I achieved were really pleasing and I would suggest practising using them with a variety of sticky surfaces.

This product definitely lives up to expectations
The silver flakes performed amazingly with the glue however it would be more helpful if they were sold together rather than separately. The flakes create a seamless background or feature to any painting or drawing. I purchased them especially to use in my a level art and they are working perfectly so far.

This product is great
Product was perfect for my project. It has larger pieces than I expected which was very useful. Need to make sure all fans or AC is off, these bits are very delicate and will fly away.
Will definitely buy this product again in silver and the other colours avaiable.
Very good value for money and the contents goes a long way.

Gilding Flakes
I bought this for a large picture frame I was recycling. The pot is very deceiving as when you open it up there are lots of very thin layers of silver leaf inside and it goes an awful long way. I have only used a tiny amount so I will be looking for other items but I can gild and give a new lease of life too

Great product, bad packaging
Loved these flakes - easy to use in a variety of craft projects. The only downside is the packaging - there is no barrier over the pot and lid, so as soon as you open the lid the product is exposed (as it's very light it's easy to spill or blow everywhere).

Bought silver leaf for resin coasters and it works lovely
Have started making resin items, I bought. The silver leaf from Hobbycraft at Chesterfield, I am very happy with the results and customer service is excellent despite the COVID troubles we are having

Great colour and easy to use
Love this foil product, looked great on what I used it on and you get so much in the pot. It is a bit flakey when you first open the lid and it can get everywhere but it is still a great product.
