Too rough and doesn’t hold much paint.
The paintbrush was really rough on my canvas and when I was painting it left gaps and didn’t glide nicely, I much prefer using a softer brush anyway when using oil paints. So maybe it’s my preference but this brush would be good if you were creating a scratchy effect.

Not just for painting brushes!
These long, thin brushes work brilliantly as solder removal brushes that don’t burn or melt whilst being used to remove excess solder from the tight and restricted spaces that often need resoldering on brass musical instruments. #it pays to think outside the box.

Ok quality
One of the metal ferrules broke almost immediately I used it
Bought for one specific project which I completed with the other brushes
Cheap enough so not bothered
Spend a little more if their your primary brushes

Always reliable
I find these brushes a fairly affordable way to create great textures in my painting. Although designated for use with oils, the texture with acrylic is exactly what I am looking for.

Look nice, good price.
New to painting so yet to see if these will be long lasting. They are very reasonably priced so hopefully will be just what I need to start out. They look good so that's positive.

Good for fine detail
Bought these for a variety of uses including a bit of household decorating! They make lovely fine definition working round a frieze!

Cheap and not so cheerful
Very dirty and poor quality pig hair bristles.
Definitely a use once throw away purchase
