Easy once you know how....
I had really difficulty using this thread .... made me feel like a real muppet but a quick google taught me what I needed to know.
This doesn't work in the same way as 'normal' thread I found it difficult to work with, the thread kept splitting in two and getting caught in my needle eye.
However by using a slightly bigger eye'd needle and anchoring the thread to the eye using a slip type knot made a world of difference!
Much easier to use and looks really great and glittery!!

Lovely effect
The thread is beautiful to look at and a nice effect but i did find it more difficult to use than standard thread. It did have a tendency to split and unravel on occasion but pleased with the end result.

Bright and sparkly
Bought this and a few other colours in order to embroider some felt fishes for a mobile in my little ones bedroom. They make the fish beautifully sparkly and just finish them off.

DMC threads are always excellent quality and the metallics are no exception. The colours are vibrant and catch the light well and I've had no problems with shredding
