Creates a nice effect
The metallic embroidery threads look great if you know how to use them. I embroidered onto jute but found that they kept fraying and were difficult to thread a needle with. The solution I came up with was to lubricate the length of the thread with Decopatch varnish as this is what I had on hand. This worked a treat, however, it does stiffen the thread a little. Dip your finger into the liquid and run it along the thread and allow to dry.

Gorgeous colour, just be aware this is tricky to use in any block cross stitching & is perhaps better suited to outlining
