This product is fiddly to make up.
Disappointed that there were not enough beads to complete the lower wings. Had to supplement with other beads which were not quite the same size. Difficult to thread wire back through body beads, without pliers.

Disappointed not enough wings beads
Started this thus week and found there were not enough beads for the wings. Having gone back to Hobbycraft to complain they gave me another kit so I could finish my competition entry. That kit also would not have had enough beads to complete a dragonfly. Also some of the holes in the beads were too small to get 2 wires through.
Having now read all the reviews from over the last year I am surprised Hobbycraft haven't done something about their supplier.

Beautiful beads
I was disappointed that the wire included was too big to feed back through the beads. The gauge was too large for the size beads included in the kit. Luckily I had 0.4 mm wire at home and was therefore able to complete my dragonfly.

Disappointing
Started making this dragonfly kit and there aren't enough beads to do the lower set of wings. Very disappointed that I'll now have to buy more so I can finish it. Was making it for decoration for my niece's room.

Love this!
Truly enjoyed making the dragonfly. Was a little bit fiddly at first but once you get the hang of it, it’s really easy. Loved watching it take shape. I would recommend having a pair of long nose tweezers to hand.
Can’t wait to buy more in the range. Would make a lovely gift or even made up and used to dress a really special gift box!

Not as good as it should be due to defects
This is a lovely kit, but as others have said, it is defective. The wire is too thick - I had some much thinner but stronger which worked a treat - and there are insufficient of the very small beads for the wings so again I had to use my own.

Disappointed
Made a beautiful dragonfly - eventually ! Unfortunately it didn’t have enough beads in the kit to complete as per the instructions so had to make part of the dragonfly smaller
