Good starter kit
A lovely kit but little things let it down.
The wire jig is sturdy and I like that you have the half circular and rectangular grid, there are a good number of the metal pegs included (though it would have been good to have some larger pegs for getting good curves). The draw for storing the pegs lets this kit down. The draw is loose, and slides in and out with nothing to hold the draw in a closed position - this could have done with a notch so that the draw clicks into place. I will store the pegs elsewhere to avoid loosing them from the loose draw. The wire jig is the main reason for my purchase.
The wire supplied in the kit is kinked due to the way it is provided. Had it been in a circle it would have been much better, instead of being wound the way you might wind some loose string or ribbon.
The book/booklet supplied is well written with good diagrams. It explains tools that are provided along with recommendations for additional tools that would be useful, and a little bit about types of wire and thickness. A good introduction to working with wire for jewellery.
There is a template sheet included, but I have to admit I probably won’t use that, and a handful of earring hooks.

Excessive packaging and not enough inside
Like my previous reviewer I only bought it for the jig and the pegs, which are OK, but are missing some bigger pegs for wider bends. And I also don't like that the tray just slides out and your pegs are all over the place. That needs fixing.
If I had bought it because I actually wanted to make the suggested items, I would have been utterly disappointed to find the wiring just crunched up, as you can see on the photo. Who does that??? Why not leave as nice clean spirals, the box was big enough.
The instruction booklet, if you can call it that, is pretty much useless. The photos are too small. The "gold" wired is hardly to see on the pink jig. The steps missed out but as long as it's glossy.
One leaflet with a link to a pdf and/or instruction videos would have been so much better, especially for beginners. More to that later.
My biggest issue though is the packaging. Yes, everything is cardboard, apart from the plastic bag for the jig, but too much cardboard is not environmentally friendly either. The packaging consists of an outer sleeve, a box and a tray. 3 pieces of cardboard plus the glossy booklet. The box is too big for what is inside, if the instruction booklet was a PDF and/or videos the box could have been half the size, without tray and just a sticker front and back. I have looked at almost all of these kits and I would estimate 90% would get away with a smaller box if you ditched the booklet and have a downloadable PDF and/or video tutorials instead.
If you just want the jig and pegs, like I did, and think they are worth a tenner get it, you'll get 3 pairs of earring hooks throw in. But if you want to get it because you want to make nice wire jewellery, I suggest you'd rather spend a bit more for better quality.
The whole look of the boxes is trying to convince you, that you will get some great products to start a new hobby and when you look inside you are disappointed. It could have been so much more for a tenner. Maybe add a silver wire, or something that pretends to be silver and some silver earring hooks. That would have made the cost of a tenner less like it's totally overprices.
