Great Lino Ink!
I used the Essdee Black Waterbased Ink to make cards of my A5 lino cut design i have made recently. I was apprehensive about many prints the ink would do as it is a small tube. However, it is fair to say i am pleasantly surprised. So far, i have printed 30 copies of my A5 lino print and have used less than a 1/4 of the tube. It is great value for money. I also found that it produced such clear and defined prints. I would definitely recommend.

Great for lino printing
My daughter needed this for her Art and Design course. She was practising lino printing and mono printing at home and it was great, very smooth and easy to use with good coverage. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed but a very helpful assistant in store led me straight to it.

Great results
Takes a bit of practice to get the perfect layer of ink and the perfect amount of pressure to apply - once you've got the knack this ink really does a great job. Easily washes out of equipment too.

Good coverage and consistency
I bought this for a sketchbook course I was doing and it worked very well. It is very black with a good smooth consistency and was easy to work with.

does the job
I got this ink for lino printing and it does work well and spreads smoothly. But it takes for ever to completely dry - anywhere from 3hrs to 24. Although apparently this is more to do with it being a water based ink not oil based

Great
The ink has the perfect consistency for all types of printing, Lino, mono and etch. It's not liquids or gloopy. It is perfect and lasts for a long time as you don't need to use much.

Good basic lino printing equipment
Great to find just what I needed in Hobbycraft Orpington - soft cut lino blocks (which did just what it said on the tin) and the printing ink to pull a print from my lino cut.
