It's real lino!
Good quality lino for professional or beginner printing. Easy to carve straight out the pack and even more so if you warm it up (e.g. on a radiator).
Very convenient to be able to get lino from my local Hobbycraft, although this Essdee pack is quite expensive compared to other brands/suppliers.
Don't waste your time with soft/easy cut "linoleum" (plastic!) as it's more expensive, easier to slip and make accidental cuts, and absolutely terrible for the environment when real lino shavings are biodegradable.
Use with an oil-based printing ink to get the most out of your hours of shaving! :)

It was good but pricey
A professional artist and usually bug this product on line as it's much cheaper . On this occasion I needed some quickly for my Lino course I know it works and the size is good . I would not buy it again at that price in store . As I use a lot of Lino

Good slab of Lino to etch into
Accompanied by the inks and etching pack, this is a great way to learn lino printing, and cheap too! However after washing ink off the lino slab, it looses its quality for a second and third print. Really good stuff though!

Good Size
These were just the right size for what I wanted to do. As a newbie to lino cutting, I am in the process of trying all the different lino types easily available to me. So far this type seems the best.

Good beginners toolkit
A good selection of tools although some were more useful than others, probably not possible to sharpen the blades so would have prefered less variety and more back up blades,

Hard to cut
I'm a bit out of practice but I found this material harder to cut than previous mats. This meant that my work was not as intricate as I had intended.
