Fantastic book, packed with fun and achievable goals.
I really love this book; it has one short creative task a day to build experience and skills with watercolour paints. Starting with really valuable information about the range of paint, paper and brush quality, it offers a great starting point to try out strokes, shapes and blending. Each daily task only takes a few minutes and soon you’ll be building impressive compositions and whole paintings. I put each project in the leaves of the book to build my own project book.
It’s great fun and feel like I am really learning something .

Wonderfully informative read
For an ex art student to return to his love of water colour painting yet not knowing where to pick up again, then this book has been a life saver.
Perfect for novices and semi reasonable artistes, the book will teach you all you need to know and is enjoyable if used as a 30 day course.
Would make an excellent gift for someone wondering where to begin or for the person wanting to expand their theory knowledge.

Great way to learn watercolor
I had tried watercolor in the past and even though I find it beautiful I could nevee succeed to make something I was proud of. This book gives you step-by-step techniques and improving slow but consistent every day. So you end up creating and dominating the techniques in a wonderful way. I fully recommend it.

Everyday Watercolour - highly recommended
Excellent paint-every-day book for beginners and refreshers in a contemporary style. Beautifully written and well-illustrated. It starts with the basics and gradually builds up your skills. Colour theory is well-explained and I have completed most of the exercises. The best way to understand it is to use your paints and build up your own colour library. If you are able to do something every day for the 30 days and follow the plan, you will build upon the foundations you have learnt, and put it into practice to create some really good paintings. My biggest problems is setting time aside each day, but I am getting there! I have a number of Watercolour books but would recommend this book above them all because the content is easy to understand and gives you the confidence and knowledge to start creating something beautiful.
