Incredible pens but easily damaged
The pens themselves are a delight to work with, the brush nibs are flexible and easy to control whilst giving a variety of line widths, the ink flows extremely smoothly on many surfaces such as papers to textured boards and the colour does not faulter on tanned coloured surfaces. The only downside to these pens are that they can be easily damaged, one of the pens I bought I noticed a slight wear to the tip which was a disappointment but the pen still works perfectly despite that. However I will be careful whenever working with these pens to ensure that doesn't worsen or occur in the others.

This pen gives me great control
I have used this for shading, and it's not at all difficult to adapt from thin to thick lines. It's comfortable to hold and works with other media.

Great pen to block out
As an illustrator I'm always drawing, and it can be really difficult to get good pens. Would always recommend this, especially for blocking out large areas. Isn't streaky, last a long time!

Excellent!
The Faber Castell range is of excellent quality. The larger brush tip is very useful for covering larger areas. A very good buy!

A nice big marker pen.
Has a really nice varied line, especially good at big bold lines. Nice amount of control on the tip and good flow of ink. The only problem is that the fibre tip becomes damaged/frayed very quickly. If you're doing big bold work this won't be a problem but the range of line and the line clarity is reduced a lot. Still overall a good pen, but you might get through a few of them!
