Great for rainy days.
I bought several of these, in different shapes, whilst they were on special offer and they have everything a child needs to make a great toy or ornament. The plastic needles are entirely safe and the pre made holes make sure that they don't hurt their fingers pushing the cord through the hole. An excellent concept, well executed.

Quite good kits. Only down sides are, there is no glue for the non sewable parts and there is not much stuffing so you will need a little of both of these things yourself on order to complete the kit.
Bought whilst in the sale - would have been very unhappy if I'd paid the full price.

Great for teaching children to sew
I bought a selection of these kits for a christmas present for a friends grand-daughter, so they havent actually been gifted yet. I know they are ideal for an early foray into sewing, and when completed are fun little items as I used similar things with some disabled children a few years ago and they absolutely loved them.

Great start to sewing
My granddaughters started doing these kits when they were three , have done the whole range, and moved on to cross-stitch. My grandson is now wanting to do some as he has watched his sisters...he will be able to sew on his own shirt buttons in the future! Great little kits and very reasonably priced.

Pocket money activities
Both of these activities kept my 5 year old granddaughter occupied on a very wet Wednesday during the school holidays. She enjoying Sewing the teddy bear and making the window sunshine catcher. I thought they were perfectly priced for children spending pocket money
