Not the taste of real strawberries, strawberryish.
Expensive but adds a hint of flavour. I maybe needed to add more. Used 3 teaspoons in a 3 egg cake mix. Synthetic is too strong a word, but no substitute for real strawberries. Gives a pink colour. Jury out.
