Really good glow paint!
I initially thought this paint would be potentially difficult to use and I'd need a lot of it to get any glow affect, but I was wrong! One coat was actually enough but I did go over with a second coat just to make it that much more glowy! People using this expect it to glow amazingly just from sunlight charging it. It won't. It does have a glow, but you will never get the desired affect you want just from sunlight, instead you'll want a UV torch or bulb. That will charge it a lot better and quicker and after that, the glow lasts all night! I used this paint to go over a space wall mural I did for my step son and now his planets and their names and all the stars I did glow at night, it looks awesome! It's a sort of gel lile PVA consistency so is easy to use and has very little smell - like a faint playdough smell maybe. It washes out easily and a little goes a really long way. Definitely recommend! I bought 2 bottles and we used 1 and a half to cover everything we needed on the wall.

Glow in the dark a bit hit and miss
The Glow in the dark paint is a little hit and miss, sometimes it glows sometimes it doesn’t which is a little odd. It does take an awfully long time to dry, and has to be applied in thick layers to be even slightly effective. But luckily I bought it at a reduced price, but unfortunately I bought two bottles, won’t be buying these again though

great if used right
worked really well when the paint was blobbed on (ie really generous with it) - if you spread the paint around too thinly the effect in the dark isn't good at all. But now we know that, my kid loves it so I'm happy!

Makes acrylic paintings a little more fun
I paint using acrylic and wanted to add a fun look to my paintings. I used this glow in the dark paint to create some really nice effects. It's thicker than some of the glow in the dark paint online but it can be thinned out without losing the effect. It also mixes well with other colours. This is now my glow in the dark paint of choice. Great find.

It glows!
This paint really does glow in the dark, however you need to take care with what you paint it on to - I painted it onto foam which just absorbed the paint, so I’ve had to do a few layers to make it thick enough to glow.

Glowing review!
This glow in the dark paint is ok. However I had to put on a good half a dozen coats to my project. Even then it still didn't to be that active. It worked better once I had tried it on top of neon paint, though still had to put on a good 3/4 coats to gain the effect I wanted. Perhaps it would be suitable to just paper/card art ideas and not wooden/paper mache projects. There is no info on the bottle to what it is suitable for, shame. But I suppose at the low price it was, it is suggested use is for the everyday arts and crafts consumer. I'll return to see if Hobbycraft has a better solution.

Takes forever to dry
I painted some badges at 9AM and this paint wasn't dry by midnight.
I then tried a really thin layer of paint which dried a bit quicker but it wasn't very effective as the paint only really glowed when it was nice and thick. Maybe if you have the patience/time to paint several layers over a couple of days you could get a decent effect.
Despite that, it would be ok for kids projects. I think I'm just too impatient.
