Moulds easily
I bought these 3 months ago to try gouache for the first time - nice consistency and colour, and easy to blend, but the second time I got them out of their packet, about half the paints had gone mouldy. I kept the tubes sealed and the paints themselves in a dry room; I never wetted my paintbrush and took from them directly, only squirted them into my palette. I knew gouache has tendencies to mould if left for 3-6 months, but this was in the space of about 3 weeks. Really disappointed that I couldn't get much use of these - the white especially was riddled with mould throughout and probably isn't useable anymore.

Wow- wonderful paints
I love the gouache paints, I’m new to painting with water colouring and make lots of mistakes so initially I was looking for something to blank out my mistakes so I could paint over them, I’ve found just what I want in these paints but what a bonus - wow- the colours are so gorgeous I think I will make them my ‘go to’ paints of choice. They blend so easily which is another bonus as it gives you a larger range of colour for no extra cost. My winner.

Very impressed
As a professional artist I was very impressed with the quality of this gouache. I decided to buy it as in between my professional work doing sketches etc I thought this product would be ideal, however while using it I thought wow, great colour, consistency and coverage. I would recommend this product.

They work perfectly
This is my first time using gouache and they work exactly how I imagined them to.
They are a good choice for your first set of gouache, since they aren't too pricey, yet they are of high quality.

these paints are very good
they mix very well and have a strong colour, they dry quite fast and are apply quite thin so the paper doesn’t feel heavy and you can easily layer colour over each other. highly recommend.

Good starter gouache
Pigments are strong, paint mixes well and functions well as a watercolour-type wash or in thicker application. A bit pricey and you'll use up the white quickly, but a good buy to start with
